Wright Patterson Air Force Base and Springfield-Beckly Air National Guard Base are home to the district. 

Ohio-10 is the birthplace of aviation and numerous inventions. 

There are over 50 public schools, 25 private schools, 21 Colleges and Universities, 2 HBCUs, and 9 graduate school programs. 

Two large hospital groups and the Veterans Affairs Medical Center provide access to care for residents in the district.
