PANTONE COLOR LISTS....(or something of the sort)
I really like www.colourlovers.com for color palettes and inspiration. Hope this helps and I am extremely excited for both of you!
Anyone out there know a place online where I might be able to look up pantone colors, i.e. I / Kristen want to be able to define what colors are going to be “the colors” in our wedding and to decide or choose the ones we want I was thinking we could just use a set color or number for a preset color…
I don’t know if it’s just pantone colors out there, but anyone know of a color database or something like that?

The Story of Stuff- Bottled Water
Just saw a slew of promo for both of these movies; combined with the whole Nestle Fail going on, now is definitely not a great time to start a bottled water brand. Guess my idea for a sparkling malt water is out for now…

Tea Party with my Fashion Friends
These crazy fashion people tea bags are too cute.
Naomi, Jean Paul, Claudia, Karl, and Donatella.
I want one with Alber on it!
I think I’d want Donatella Versache in my tea. At least if she was sitting in a cup of warm tea it would explain why she’s stained orange and all wrinkly.

“Lukewarm people feel secure because they attend Church, made a profession of faith when they were twelve, were baptized, come from a christian family, vote republican or live in America. Just as the prophets in the Old Testament warned Israel they were not safe just because they lived in the land of Israel, so we are not safe just because we wear the label of Christian or because some people persist in calling us a “Christian” nation”

Wow, I got really emotional reading this. I wish I could be in Oklahoma, but I am thankful for all the men and women taking the time to get Senator Coburn’s attention. “A change is gonna come.”
It’s been over a week now that people have been outside the Chase building in Oklahoma City asking Senator Coburn to lift his hold on the LRA Disarmament and Northern Uganda Recovery Act and the OKC citizens continue to show their support. Here’s a recent story…
“There is a cafe/deli on the ground floor of the Chase Building, just inside the entrance. The other day the cafe delivered a platter full of sandwiches to the demonstrators. They gratefully accepted the gift, but it wasn’t until later that they realized that one of the cooks had paid for all of the sandwiches on his credit card. This cook is from Honduras and has recently become a citizen of the United States. When the cafe owner found out what his best employee had done, he offered to reimburse him, but the cook replied that he wanted to do it because “This is America.” He explained that he came to America because this sort of political change is possible. He went on to say that these young people are changing the world and they are changing the future for his 3-year-old son.”
Tomorrow afternoon Senator Coburn will be having a phone conversation with people from Resolve Uganda at 5pm. Click here to stay updated on what’s happening.

Kathryn Bigelow Talks About “The Hurt Locker” | Newsweek.com
Just before dawn one July morning, Kathryn Bigelow was setting up a shot for The Hurt Locker in the Jordanian desert. The movie follows an Explosive Ordnance Disposal bomb technician, one of the hundred or so soldiers in Iraq who dismantle roadside IEDs planted by insurgents. For the scene, the tech and two of his co—workers would detonate a bomb in the middle of the desert, and Bigelow wanted to shoot them from atop a high sand dune. This meant that the crew had to tote all their gear to the top of a hill in the brutal summer heat. “There were a lot of macho guys on the set, British SAS, not to mention all these young, studly actors, and all those guys were falling by the wayside,” says Mark Boal, who wrote and co-produced The Hurt Locker. “I’m not walking this hill, no way in hell. I drive past one of the crew who’s literally puking on the side of the road. People are dying on this hill. I drive up, and Kathryn is already at the top. She’s beaten everyone up there.”
She’s beaten everyone up there.

“When I was nine, I asked my Dad, ‘Can I have your movie camera? That old, wind-up 8-millimeter movie camera that’s in your drawer?’ And he goes, ‘Sure, take it.’ And I took it, and I started making movies with it, and I started being as creative as I could, and never once in my life did my parents ever say, ’ What you’re doing is a waste of time.’ Never….. I know there are kids out there that don’t have that support system. So, if you’re out there and you’re listening, listen to me: If you wanna be creative, get out there and do it. It’s not a waste of time.”
